So this week I realized that I really suck when I don’t meet with the Lord for a week. I mean, put my bible and notebook away because I “don’t have time,” and can you say attitude? Can you say drama? Can you say depression? Because that is what I was. Sorry to those who experienced it, don’t worry, the Lord has snapped me out of it and I’m not going to be selfish anymore. ✌🏽

Dear Megan, I honestly sometimes can’t even handle how well YOU handle your life. I mean, I know that it is the Holy Spirit within you because no woman, especially a 41 week pregnant woman can endure what you do and with such joy. I honestly don’t think I heard you complain about ANYTHING in the last 9 months except maybe the awkward sitting situation and even that was once or twice. You are not self seeking nor do you crave attention. You are positive and strong. This morning you said to me; “so umm… I’m a mom now, crazy!?” But the first thing I thought was, you always were. God created you for this, He specifically knitted Peyton together for YOU and for SHANE. And you were Peyton’s mom long before she was ever around. You embraced the motherly qualities God gave you before today and for that reason, you are going to be an AMAZING mom, who aligns her ways with the Lord’s to make sure she is always doing it right. I love you, Shane, and now Peyton so so much. Thank you for showing the world another example of what a woman who fears the Lord looks like, AND being friends who sharpen like iron does.
